According to Takvim, Mohamed Elneny has now agreed a contract with Galatasaray as his exit from Arsenal edges closer.
What’s the story?
Well, it’s transfer deadline day in Turkey today, and Galatasaray are rushing to add a new midfielder to their ranks.
The Turkish giants are so keen to recruit a new face in that department that they’ve also lined up deals for Leicester’s Nampalys Mendy and Roma’s Amadou Diawara.
However, it’s Elneny they have agreed a contract with.
Takvim believe the Egyptian has agreed a deal worth €2.5m-a-year (£2.1m) with the Süper Lig side, which equates to £40,384-a-week.
Galatasaray actually gave up their pursuit of Elneny last week, according to Takvim.
However, they then reignited talks with Arsenal, who are demanding €4m (£3.4m) to sell the 29-year-old.
Arsenal must offload Mohamed Elneny

Following the arrival of Albert Sambi Lokonga, Arsenal have to offload Elneny – it makes no sense whatsoever to keep him.
Even if Galatasaray are struggling to pay the aforementioned £3.4m asking price, then it should be lowered – he must go.
The 79-cap Egypt international is far from a key player at the Emirates Stadium, and his contract ends in June.
In that respect, Arsenal must sell now if they’re to secure any money for Elneny, as he can sign pre-contract agreements with other clubs in January.
Additionally, now that Albert Sambi Lokonga has arrived and Ainsley Maitland-Niles is staying, Arsenal have no need for Elneny.

Strangely, the Egyptian was given minutes ahead of Lokonga against Manchester City last time out.
That simply can’t happen again. Lokonga is only 21, and needs the game time to aid his development.
If this deal falls through today, Arsenal should kick themselves.
