Leeds United and Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic are among the clubs keen on signing Tom Lawrence, but it seems that the Everton summer transfer target is moving to Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Rangers instead.
Rangers to sign Leeds and Celtic target Tom Lawrence
The Glasgow Evening Times are reporting that Rangers have won the race to sign Lawrence on a free transfer this summer following his departure from Derby County.
The report has claimed that Rangers have fought off competition from Sheffield United to sign the Wales international forward.
In demand
In late May, TEAMtalk reported interest in Lawrence from Leeds, Celtic and Everton among other clubs.
The report claimed that Southampton, Leeds, Bournemouth, Fulham, Watford, West Bromwich Albion and Nottingham Forest all were keen on Lawrence, and so are Celtic, who were ‘keeping tabs on his situation’.

Ibrox move happening
It now appears that Lawrence is on his way to Rangers, with The Glasgow Evening Times claiming that the forward will complete his move to Ibrox in the coming days.
Lawrence, 28, scored 11 goals and gave five assists for Derby last season.
The forward has played for Manchester United and Leicester City as well in his career.
