Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the chance to sign former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, according to 90min.
Former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny offered to Tottenham
90min have reported that Tottenham are on the hunt for a long-term successor to Hugo Lloris, who is 35 now and makes mistakes from time to time.
The report has claimed that former Arsenal goalkeeper Szczesny has been offered to Tottenham ‘by intermediaries’.
Italian news outlet CMW reported only last week that Tottenham are ‘very interested’ in Szczesny and want to bring him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for next season and beyond.
The report added that former Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly identified Guglielmo Vicario as a potential replacement for the Poland international goalkeeper should he leave at the end of the season.

Unlikely to happen
In our view, former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is unlikely to become a Tottenham Hotspur player anytime soon.
Arsenal and Tottenham are bitter North London rivals, and it is really hard to see Spurs chairman Daniel Levy sanction a deal for Szczesny.
Moreover, the Pole is 32 now.
It would make sense for Tottenham to bring in a goalkeeper who is a (bit) younger than Szczesny, who Arsenal sold to Juventus for £10 million (The Guardian) in the summer of 2017.
