Celtic winger Jota reportedly wants to leave the Hoops for Al Ittihad.
According to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Al Ittihad want to sign Jota from Celtic in the summer transfer window.
The Italian journalist has claimed that the Saudi Arabian club are closing in on a deal to secure the services of the winger.
Romano has added that Jota, described as a player who is “very talented” by former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou in The Herald in October 2021, himself is keen on a move to Al Ittihad this summer.

Blow for Celtic
In our opinion, if Jota leaves Celtic in the summer transfer window, then it will come as a blow for the Hoops.
After all, the winger is one of the best players for the Hoops and has been superb for the Glasgow giants since he made the move from Benfica.
After a successful loan spell, the Portuguese winger made the deal permanent and continued to flourish at Celtic.
Jota has won the Scottish Premiership title twice, and the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup once each with the Bhoys.
Last season, the 24-year-old made 26 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic.
Jota scored 11 goals and gave 11 assists in those games.
