Arsenal may face missing out on Alphonse Areola, as he could join Fulham, Sky claim, with the newly promoted side now in talks.
Back in May it was reported that Arsenal wanted to sign Areola by Mundo Deportivo.
Those rumours then stepped up a notch when Areola bought a house in London, just a month ago, as covered by HITC at the time.
But it seems that purchase may have been made with an eye on a move to Fulham rather than Arsenal.
Sky now suggest that the PSG stopper is on the verge on a move to Craven Cottage, where he may well become first-choice.
That could be a blow to Arsenal’s plans – but only if one of their current goalkeepers leaves.

Arsenal have Bernd Leno and Emi Martinez keeping net for them at the moment, but there are doubts over the latter’s future.
If Martinez does leave then buying an new goalkeeper will surely be high up on Mikel Arteta’s list of priorities.
But one potential option in Areola looks like he is about to be taken off the table.
