Bournemouth will put Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal target Nathan Ake up for sale this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Bournemouth are currently fighting against the drop in the Premier League, but even if they stay up, Ake is expected to be made available.

That may just pique the interest of Tottenham and Arsenal, who have been strongly linked with the Dutch centre-back before.

The Daily Mail claimed that Bournemouth were expecting bids for the Spurs and Arsenal target in January, but in the end neither club pushed through with their interest.

Arsenal and Spurs still appear to be on the lookout for a centre-back though, and if Ake is up for sale, he may well be put back on their radar.

The Mail claimed that Bournemouth were looking at raising £40 million for Ake at the turn of the year, but that price may have come down now.

If Ake was to arrive at Tottenham he would be in competition with the likes of Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld for a place.

A move to Arsenal, on the other hand, could see Mikel Arteta partner him with William Saliba at the heart of the Gunners’ defence next term.

The Mail claim that Bournemouth could look to offload Joshua King, David Brooks and Callum Wilson as they aim to cut-costs.
