Sheffield United are leading the likes of Newcastle and Leeds United for the loan signature of Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster, according to a report.
90 Min have claimed that Liverpool want their highly-rated youngster to experience Premier League football, with a number of teams keen on his services.
Despite interest from the likes of Newcastle and Palace, who are more established, and newly-promoted Leeds. It seems as though Chris Wilder is winning the chase for his signature and they have held talks with the Premier League champions about their top-talent.
Near on every team in England’s top-flight is looking for some sort of firepower and goals, and Brewster may well be a smart purchase.
The 20-year-old was on-loan at Swansea during the second half of last season. His performances and goals helped the Welsh side reach the play-off semi-finals.
Some would have thought that Jurgen Klopp would make the Anfield academy product part of his plans this season because he needs that attacking depth in his squad.

But that would mean Brewster would earn far less game time than if he was playing at Bramall Lane, Elland Road or St James’ Park.
Leeds fans may not be too fussed that they may lose out on his signature because they are close to signing their own striker this summer – Rodrigo from Valencia, as confirmed by the Spanish club’s Twitter account.
As for the Magpies, they need that spark, pace and goal-threat upfront, and amid all this takeover talk, any quality purchase, whether it be a loan or permanent, is needed.
But given that Wilder likes to play two up top, Brewster may enjoy that more because it could mean more game time than at the other clubs. Either way, someone in the Premier League will be getting a player of high potential.
