Arsenal are interested in signing Glen Kamara from Steven Gerrard’s Rangers in the summer of 2021, according to GiveMeSport.

It has been reported that Arsenal have been impressed by Kamara’s progress and performances at Rangers, and that the Premier League club are considering a bid for the Gers star at the end of the season.

The Gunners actually let Kamara leave for Dundee in Scotland in 2017, with the midfielder having made just one first-team appearance for the Premier League club.

Important player for Rangers

Kamara has been on the books of Rangers since 2019 and has established himself as an important player in manager Gerrard’s team.

The 25-year-old Finland international has played his role in Rangers winning the Scottish Premiership title and reaching the Europa League Round of 16 this season.

According to WhoScored, the former Dundee star has made 23 starts and five substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.

Kamara also scored one goal in 10 Europa League matches for the Gers this campaign, according to WhoScored.

Described as “fantastic” by Rangers manager Gerrard on the club’s Twitter page in October 2020, Kamara is a big player for the Gers, who are unlikely to sell him on the cheap.
