PIF have already changed transfer plans at Newcastle United, as the Magpies continue to struggle to pick up points, the Times report.
Changing the plans
Newcastle have just four points from their opening 10 games this season and are now starting to look cut adrift in the relegation zone.
Newcastle’s new owners had always planned to invest at the first opportunity, as they seek to inject some quality into the team.
But initially it seemed that the club’s new owners wanted to take things slowly, as they build for the future.
However, the latest update suggest that Newcastle will now attack the January transfer window far more ‘aggressively’,
This could well see Newcastle make huge changes to their starting line-up, given the riches of their new owners.
But even that plan carries some risk, given the precarious situation that they are in.

Newcastle may be able to bring in quality in January, but whoever they sign will not have much time to gel.
If the Magpies do bring in numerous new players then the pressure will be on their manager to get them set-up into an effective system quickly.
Things can hardly get much worse than they have done over the season so far, though.
Newcastle are still looking for their first win of the new campaign, and are now in serious danger of starting their new era by taking a big step backwards into the Championship.
