Manchester United reportedly want former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona.

The report has claimed of interest in Coutinho from Premier League giants United, but the 27-year-old – who can also operate as a winger – will not move to the Red Devils due to his association with Liverpool.
Successful Liverpool spell
Coutinho joined Liverpool from Inter Milan in January 2013 and soon established himself as a key figure in the Reds’ team.
The Brazil international was instrumental in the Merseyside outfit almost winning the Premier League title in 2013-14.
Spanish and European giants Barcelona signed Coutinho from Liverpool in January 2018 for an initial transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £105 million.

Disappointing Barcelona spell
Coutinho has struggled to make a huge impact at Barcelona and has not shown the form that he did when he was at Liverpool.
According to WhoScored, the Brazilian star made 22 starts and 12 substitute appearances in La Liga for Barca this past season, scoring five goals and providing two assists in the process.
