Leeds United’s chase of Romain Perraud could take a long time to get over the line, according to Phil Hay, writing in the Athletic.
Leeds have been linked with the left-back in recent weeks, with Hay confirming that the Stade Brest man is on Marcelo Bielsa’s side’s wishlist ahead of the summer.
Le 10 Sport then went on to say that Leeds have already made contact, with a view to wrapping up a deal early.
However, any transfer looks complicated for Leeds to get over the line, judging by Hay’s latest update.
Leeds are far from the only club moving for Perraud, who has impressed in Ligue 1 this season, and the defender apparently may opt to take his time before deciding which move to take.

If the 23-year-old does pick Leeds it could be a major boost to them, as left-back does appear to be an area of their squad where they could upgrade their options.
Gianni Alioski has done a solid job this season, but there is a feeling that Perraud may just be able to take his place if he does arrive.
