Leeds United defender Robin Koch continues to progress well from injury, but may not be back and available until the middle of next month, Phil Hay reports for the Athletic.
Koch has been out since December with a knee injury, leaving Leeds’ options in central defence short.
That was exposed yesterday, as Luke Ayling was forced into a more central role, with Leeds going on to concede four against Arsenal.
The hope among supporters is that Koch’s return could be imminent.
However, Hay has suggested that while he has been told that the 24-year-old hasn’t suffered any set-backs it could be over a month before he returns yet.

That will be a blow to Leeds, who have rarely been able to pick a settled backline this season.
Both Koch and Diego Llorente have struggled to stay fit in their first seasons at Elland Road, which has left Marcelo Bielsa having to rotate his backline.
Even with their injury struggles Leeds have still coped well, with the newly promoted side currently sat in 11th place in the Premier League table.
