Georginio Wijnaldum is set to leave Liverpool for Barcelona in one of the next two transfer windows, The Daily Mail say.
Wijnaldum was linked with a move away from Liverpool in the summer, but Jurgen Klopp was determined to keep him around at Anfield.
However, the central midfielder now has just months remaining on his Liverpool contract.
Wijnaldum has not been able to agree new terms to stay on Merseyside, and it appears that he will now move to the Nou Camp sooner rather than later.
Ronald Koeman, who is now in charge at Barca, is a major fan of the central midfielder and is eyeing him up on a cut price deal.
Liverpool could offload Wijnaldum in January, which will be the last chance they have to collect some money for him, or they could keep him around until the end of the season and let him go on a free.

That may be Liverpool’s best option, as they are unlikely to want to lose another first-team player midway through the season.
Klopp is a big fan of Wijnaldum, and once called him a ‘perfect’ player on the club’s official website.
His departure will weaken Liverpool in midfield, but the Reds may be looking to bring in a younger alternative next summer when he does leave.
