Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola personally wants to sign Arsenal and Liverpool target Joshua Kimmich, according to a report.
The Mirror have reported that Manchester City want to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich, a player Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are also keen on.
Marca reported last week that Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in signing the 28-year-old Germany international in the summer transfer window.
The Mirror have reported that Premier League champions Manchester City are keen Kimmich and are willing to use Joao Cancelo in a swap deal.
Cancelo joined Bayern on loan from City in the January transfer window.
The report has claimed that “Guardiola is a big fan” of the 28-year-old, who can operate as a defensive midfielder or as a full-back and earns £298,000-a-week (SalarySport) per week.
The former Barcelona head coach reportedly wants to sign Kimmich as a potential replacement for Ilkay Gundogan, who is out of contract at City at the end of the season.
