West Ham United will reportedly pursue Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere.

According to The Express, West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini will target a deal for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere as his contract saga rumbles on.
The Hammers landed Pellegrini as their new manager last month, bringing in the Chilean to succeed David Moyes in an ambitious move, with the ex-Manchester City manager expected to be backed in the transfer market.
Another midfielder must be on Pellegrini’s radar given the lack of depth there, with Mark Noble, Cheikhou Kouyate and Pedro Obiang his only recognised options in the engine room.

Now, The Express report that Pellegrini is driving West Ham’s interest in Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, having previously targeted a deal for the 26-year-old when in charge of Manchester City.
Wilshere is out of contract with Arsenal this summer and has allegedly snubbed a new three-year deal, meaning he will be free to move on – and the Hammers hope to land him.
Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also thought to be interested, but West Ham will look to make their move with Pellegrini at the helm.

Wilshere’s quality is undoubted, and he would be a major addition to the West Ham midfield if fit and firing – but most fans will know that Wilshere’s injury problems have really held him back in recent years.
Left out of the England squad for this summer’s World Cup, Wilshere will want to prove his doubters wrong next season – and whilst his club for next term isn’t yet known, West Ham will now hope he chooses to head to East London.
