West Ham United are reportedly keen on forward Angel Romero.

According to The Mirror, West Ham United are keen to sign Angel Romero from Corinthians – just weeks after signing his club and international teammate Fabian Balbuena.
The Hammers have enjoyed a productive summer so far, as they have landed Lukasz Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop, Fabian Balbuena, Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson.
However, new boss Manuel Pellegrini continues to pursue new faces, and may use his knowledge of South American football once again in order to strengthen his squad.
The Mirror report that West Ham now hold an interest in signing Corinthians attacker Angel Romero, which would be their second raid on the Brazilian side.
West Ham completed a bargain swoop for Corinthians defender Balbuena earlier this month, and not only did Romero play alongside the centre back in Brazil, but they are also Paraguayan international teammates.
Romero, 26, came up through the ranks with Cerro Porteno in Paraguay before heading to Corinthians in 2014, and has registered 11 goals and nine assists in 97 appearances for the club.

A versatile forward who can play out wide or in attack, Romero is a hard-working forward who makes up for his lack of technical quality in effort, determination and pace.
Romero’s versatility may be hugely appealing to Pellegrini, and a second swoop on Corinthians could be in the pipeline as West Ham continue to look for new signings ahead of the new Premier League season.
