Manchester City’s Phil Foden could be a target for West Ham United this summer.

According to The Mirror, West Ham United could launch a loan move for Manchester City youngster Phil Foden after the appointment of Manuel Pellegrini.
Almost a week since parting ways with David Moyes, West Ham are set to land their new manager, with a deal for Chilean boss Pellegrini set to be confirmed imminently.
The 64-year-old will return to the Premier League two years after leaving Manchester City, but could now call for a favour from his former club this summer.
The Mirror report that West Ham may attempt to take City midfielder Phil Foden on loan this summer, offering the teenager a chance at first-team football next term.

Foden, 17, has been on the books with City since 2009, meaning he was with the club when Pellegrini was in charge, though just how much he knew of the midfielder is unclear.
Touted for a huge future, Foden 14 goals in 33 games for England across various age levels, whilst he even landed 12 first-team appearances under Pep Guardiola this season.
With Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Ilkay Gundogan amongst Guardiola’s options though, Foden may be better off heading out on loan in order to play under Pellegrini – and he should receive playing time given West Ham’s lack of options in central midfield.
