Glasgow Rangers are hoping to bring Graham Dorrans to Ibrox from Norwich City this summer.

A report in the Daily Record has suggested that Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has assured Graham Dorrans that he will do everything he can to make sure that he completes a move to Ibrox this summer.
The Record reports that the Gers want to make Dorrans their latest signing after an already productive summer, and are ready to make a £1.2 million bid for the Norwich City midfielder.

And it appears that Caixinha is not willing to allow the 30-year-old to move elsewhere without putting up a fight, with the Record reporting that he has been giving Dorrans – who wants to make the move to the Scottish Premiership – assurances that he is working hard on getting a deal done, and plans to make him an important part of the squad if a move does get across the line.
Given that many of the signings that Caixinha has made so far this summer are arguably gambles given their lack of experience in the Scottish game, signing someone like Dorrans would undoubtedly be a great move for the Gers if they can make it happen.
His consistency and reliability should be enough to give the team some balance while the new faces adapt to their new surroundings.
But with Caixinha doing such a large chunk of his business so early in the window, it is perhaps fair to assume that those new players will have more than enough time to get used to the Ibrox stage by the time the new campaign begins.
