Paul Lambert is reportedly set to land the Wolverhampton Wanderers job.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Paul Lambert is set to be appointed as Wolverhampton Wanderers’ next manager.
Lambert has been interviewed by Wolves recently, and apparently impressed the club’s hierarchy.
The 47-year-old was on a shortlist with the likes of Tim Sherwood and Sam Allardyce, but he is now reportedly Wolves’ first choice.

Lambert has previously had success at Championship level with Norwich City, while he has also managed Aston Villa in the Premier League.
The Scottish boss has been out of work since the end of last season, after he resigned as Blackburn Rovers boss.
Wolves had also hoped to interview Sam Allardyce, but he did not apply for the job.

Allardyce reportedly wants to manage in the Premier League, and does not want to take a job in the Championship.
Wolves are currently in 17th place in the Championship table, after a disappointing start to the new campaign.
