Paul Lambert is interested in a return to Norwich City, The Mirror reports.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers boss is said to be add odds with owners Fosun International over their transfer policy, with Championship-experienced recruits a priority for the Scot.
It was earlier claimed by The Telegraph that Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes would be overseeing Wolves’ summer business, having orchestrated a number of the club’s 2016 deals with varying degrees of success.

Lambert, who has recently managed Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers, had his best spell in management at Norwich, taking the Carrow Road outfit from League One to the Premier League in two seasons.
While the 47-year-old upped sticks for Villa Park in 2012, it is claimed his departure from Wolves could open the door to a surprise return to Norwich, who have yet to replace Alex Neil after his March sacking.

Fleetwood Town boss Uwe Rosler is the current bookies’ favourite to replace the 35-year-old, but with a year to run on the German’s Highbury contract a move for a free agent like Lambert would have obvious appeal to a club that is keen to cut costs this summer.
