The popular Newcastle United man could return next month, according to a report.
The Shields Gazette has reported that Newcastle United’s Paul Dummett is due back from injury next month.
The Magpies’ left-back hasn’t kicked a ball since going off with a hamstring injury within seven minutes of their Premier League opener with Spurs in August.
Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez has turned to a number of alternatives to fill the void at left-back – including Chancel Mbemba, Jesus Gamez and Javier Manquillo – but The Shields Gazette reports that the 26-year-old could return next month.
It is very good news for the North-East side whose manager can finally bring about a sense of stability in that position after experimenting in recent weeks.

They haven’t been outstanding, but they haven’t been abysmal either. Benitez’s side have been somewhere in the middle, which explains why they’re somewhere in the middle of the table but Dummett’s return will help them climb it once more.
