Tottenham Hotspur reportedly continue to haggle over the price of the young goalkeeper.

According to a report from Spanish newspaper Sport, Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez wants to complete a permanent move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, despite failing to make a first-team appearance during his ongoing loan spell.
The report states that the 23-year-old is absolutely certain he wants to remain in North London, but that Tottenham are still some way off agreeing a price tag for the Spaniard.
Sport claims Tottenham have made an offer of £1.7million along with the prospect of a significant sell-on fee should he leave Spurs in the future. But Espanyol are said to be unsatisfied with the deal and negotiations are ongoing.
When Lopez moved to White Hart Lane last summer the purchase agreement is said to have been in the region of £6million, but Tottenham are unwilling to go that high.

The report claims next week could be crucial in the negotiations, with the player willing to go back to Espanyol and see out of his contract before moving as a free agent in 2018 if a deal cannot be agreed in the coming days.
Tottenham already have Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm on their books and much could depend on the future of the Dutchman, who has been an able deputy since arriving from Swansea City.
