Everton are reportedly still keen on Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick.
According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Everton are preparing to step in and move for Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick should his move to Juventus collapse today.
Schick, 21, joined Sampdoria from Sparta Prague last summer, having hit eight goals in 28 games on loan with Bohemians 1905, with many expecting him to be one for the future with Sampdoria.

However, the Czech Republic international starred with Samp last season, hitting 13 goals despite mostly serving as a substitute, and his goalscoring exploits unsurprisingly triggered major interest.
As noted by Tuttosport, Italian champions Juventus agreed a €30million (£26.7million) deal to sign Schick last month, but the deal hasn’t been completed due to a cardiac issue flagged up during the striker’s medical.
Schick underwent an in-depth examination on Thursday and should receive the results later today, and Tuttosport note that, if Juve choose to cancel the deal over Schick’s medical, then Everton – as well as Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain – are ready to step in.
Everton are searching for a new striker having sold Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United last week, and Schick – who impressed with his goals as well as his technical ability last season – could fit the bill.

However, paying more than £25million for a striker with one good season in Italy – and with at least some concerns over his heart – may be something of a gamble for Everton, who have already been splashing the cash this summer.
Everton will now have one eye on the results from Schick’s in-depth examination on his heart condition, in the hope of stepping in and offering the striker another move should Juve cancel their deal.
