Brendan Rodgers is known to be a big fan of Patrick Roberts, who has spent the past two seasons at Celtic.
According to the Scottish Sun, Celtic are lining up a £500,000 bid to take Patrick Roberts on loan from Manchester City again next season.
Roberts has already spent 18 months on loan at Celtic, where he has gone on to impress.
And the youngster would be wise to move straight back to Brendan Rodgers’ side when his current loan expires.

There may well be a temptation for Roberts to head back to City in search of regular Premier League football.
But, such is Pep Guardiola’s side’s wealth of attacking options, it seems unlikely that he would get any game time at the Etihad Stadium.
As a result, a move to Celtic is almost certainly the best option for his development.

Roberts is already settled in Glasgow, and he has a place in Brendan Rodgers’ first-team.
The youngster has only grown in importance during his stay at Celtic Park, and is very well liked by the club’s supporters.
And, if Celtic do offer Roberts the chance to re-sign, the former Fulham man should jump at the opportunity to continue his development in Rodgers’ side.
