The Tottenham Hotspur full-back is a reported transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain.
According to a report from the Mirror, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Danny Rose this summer, and Tottenham will be looking to recoup at least £20 million for the left-back.
The 29-year-old joined Spurs from Leeds United in 2007 for just £1 million, according to the Mirror, and he has gone on to make 198 appearances in all competitions for the north London outfit.
Rose has just two years remaining on his current contract with Tottenham, however, and the club confirmed via their official website that the England international is being given time off this summer in order to explore prospective opportunities with other clubs.
The left-back, who earns £60,000 per week according to Spotrac, has been a fine servant for Spurs, but it seems as though his time in north London is now coming to an end.
The Mirror claims that PSG are leading the race for Rose’s signature, but Tottenham won’t sell him for less than £20 million.
Spurs do have Ben Davies who will be their first choice left-back if the 29-year-old does in fact leave this summer, but Pochettino will surely be on the look-out for another left sided defender.
One of Tottenham’s reported targets is Everton ace Lucas Digne, according to the Mirror, whilst Football.London claims that Real Betis star Junior Firpo and Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon are on Pochettino’s wish-list.
And any of those names mentioned would be excellent additions for Spurs.
