Palermo are reportedly anticipating a bid from Tottenham for Franco Vazquez.
According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make a formal offer to sign Palermo playmaker Franco Vazquez in the coming days.
Spurs are in the market for new signings this summer as they prepare for their return to the Champions League, and adding more attacking firepower will be a priority for manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Harry Kane needs assistance in attack, whilst competition for playmakers Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli wouldn’t go amiss – and it seems that Pochettino is ready to add another attacking midfielder to his ranks.
The Mirror report that Palermo are expecting Tottenham to make a move for playmaker Franco Vazquez this week, having learned of Pochettino’s interest in the player.
Vazquez, 27, joined Serie A side Palermo from Belgrano in 2012, and whilst he initially had a slow start to life in Italy, he’s become a star in Italy.
The playmaker hit ten goals and ten assists in the 2014/15 season, and added to that with eight goals and seven assists this past season, as Palermo narrowly avoided relegation.
Now though, Vazquez – who has two caps for Italy despite being born in Argentina – appears ready for a move to a Champions League club, and that could well be Spurs.
Palermo are allegedly bracing themselves for a bid in the coming days, and a move to White Hart Lane may be too good for Vazquez to turn down given Palermo’s recent struggles.
