According to Calciomercato, Crystal Palace are now interested in Aaron Ramsey after West Ham and Liverpool were linked.

It was also Calciomercato who revealed that David Moyes and Jürgen Klopp were keen on the 61-cap Wales international.

The Italian news outlet claim in their fresher report regarding Palace’s interest that Juventus want to sell Ramsey.

Andrea Pirlo is hoping for some new additions, but some players need to be offloaded first with Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot up for sale.

Calciomercato add that West Ham are interested ‘above all’ the other clubs keen on the 30-year-old.

The former Arsenal man has struggled in Italy this season with just two goals in 26 appearances.

Additionally, the BBC revealed that he earns £400,000-a-week in Turin, so amid a global pandemic in which finances have been hit, you can see why Juventus want rid.

However, because of that, we simply cannot see Ramsey joining Crystal Palace.

The Eagles currently pay Wilfried Zaha £130,000-a-week, making him their highest earner.

From our point of view, we simply can’t see the south Londoners obliterating their wage bill to bring a 30-year-old into what is already an old squad.

Of course, there’s no denying that Ramsey is a fine player – you don’t score 40 goals in the Premier League if you’re not.

Having said that, we can’t see Palace – or West Ham and Liverpool for that matter – smashing their wage bill to sign him.
