Melo has made eight consecutive starts for the Portuguese side, whom he joined on loan from Sheffield Wednesday in January.

Pacos Ferreira want to keep Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Filipe Melo next season, A Bola reports.
Melo returned to his native Portugal on loan in January, and has appeared in all but one of Pacos’ 12 Liga NOS fixtures, starting the last eight in a row.
Th 27-year-old hadn’t featured in a competitive fixture for Wednesday in 21 months before then, but has another season left on his Hillsborough deal after this one.
Nevertheless, it is unlikely that the Owls would stand in Melo’s way should an approach manifest – although it is unclear whether such a move would be permanent or temporary again.
The former Moreirense player arrived at Wednesday in January 2015 during Stuart Gray’s spell as manager, and was joined six months later by Portuguese head coach Carlos Carvalhal.

Injuries have denied Melo a chance under his compatriot, however, and his prospects of regular football at Hillsborough look bleak regardless of which division the Owls are in next season.
