Pablo Zabaleta is out of contract at West Ham United at the end of the season.
It has been reported that Zabaleta will earn an extra year at West Ham if he makes a certain number of appearances.
The Hammers also have the option to extend the contract of the 33-year-old right-back, according to the report.

Zabaleta is 33 years of age and his best years were at Manchester City, but there is no doubt that the Argentina international right-back is still good enough to play regularly in the Premier League.
The Argentine is doing well for West Ham at the moment and remains a key figure in manager Manuel Pellegrini’s team.
It would make sense for the Hammers to hand Zabaleta a new deal and extend his stay at the London Stadium for one more season, with the defender’s current contract set to run out next summer.
The former City right-back is hugely popular among the West Ham fans, who will relish watching him in action during the 2019-20 campaign as well.
