90min have reported that Arsenal are considering signing a midfielder on a free transfer.
Mohamed Elneny will be on the sidelines for the long term, while there have been injury concerns over Thomas Partey as well.
90min have reported that Arsenal are assessing their options in regard to a free transfer, and former Lille midfielder Xeka has been offered to them.
Representatives of Xeka, who won the Ligue 1 title with Lille in 2020-21, have made contact with Arsenal as well as other Premier League clubs and have offered them the Portuguese midfielder’s services, according to 90min.

The report has added that Xeka has held talks with French club Rennes as well, but he is delaying a final decision after ‘some positive responses from clubs in the Premier League’.
