Tottenham Hotspur continue to chase Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech.

According to the Daily Mail, Ajax director of football Marc Overmars has told Premier League clubs he’ll sell some of the clubs top players this summer.
Ajax have enjoyed a remarkable run to the semi-finals of the Champions League this season, and they take on Tottenham in the final four tonight.
The Dutch giants have dumped out Real Madrid and Juventus already, and whilst they’re in a fight for the Eredivisie title, they are making waves in the Champions League.
As is often the case, Ajax’s star players are wanted around the world, and midfielder Frenkie de Jong is already heading to Barcelona this summer in a big-money move.
Now, the Daily Mail report that Ajax have privately contacted Premier League clubs, with director of football Overmars telling them that he’ll sell his star players for big money.
It’s added that Tottenham will have a close eye on playmaker Hakim Ziyech tonight ahead of potentially launching a £40million move this summer, having pursued him for 18 months.

The Moroccan star, 26, has racked up 20 goals and 20 assists this season, with Spurs no doubt impressed with his exceptional passing, technique and set pieces as they consider life without Christian Eriksen.
With Overmars open to selling, Spurs may finally be able to bring their long-term target to North London, but competition from Premier League rivals wouldn’t be a huge surprise.
