Brilliant signing

Keane is a brilliant defender, and the signing of the 24-year-old would enhance the quality of the current Everton side.

The England international has improved massively since his departure from Manchester United in 2015 and has proved himself at Burnley.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a strong 2016-17 Premier League campaign on a personal level, and his progress over the past two seasons suggest that he is ready to step up to a big club in the Premier League.

Everton will be hoping to break into the top six of the Premier League next season and perhaps even challenge for the Champions League places.
