Manchester City-owned Joe Hart will not play for West Ham United against Chelsea this weekend, according to a report.

West Ham United manager David Moyes has told Manchester City-owned Joe Hart that he will not play against Chelsea this weekend, according to The Times.

Hart did not feature for West Ham against his parent club City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League last weekend, as he was ineligible to play against Pep Guardiola’s side.

Adrian played against the Citizens and gave a good account of himself, as the Hammers lost 2-1.

According to The Times, West Ham manager Moyes has informed Hart, who joined the London club on a season-long loan deal from City in the summer transfer window, that Adrian will remain in goal for the match against Chelsea at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from 15 matches, while Chelsea are currently third in the standings and will head into Saturday’s match at the London Stadium as favourites.
