According to The Sun, West Ham United believe that Nathan Holland could establish himself in the first team next season like Declan Rice has.

Holland has signed a new contract with West Ham which will see him stay at the London Stadium until 2022.

The 20-year-old former Everton prospect is highly rated by those at West Ham, who reportedly believe that the midfielder has what it takes to break into Manuel Pellegrini’s first team like Rice.

Rice, who is 20 years of age and can operate as central defender or as a defensive midfielder, is now a key figure in the West Ham senior side, having progressed at the clubs youth teams.
