PSG have not given up hope of signing the Tottenham Hotspur target, according to reports.

A report emanating from Argentina today claims that French giants PSG will fight Spurs to the very end in the race for Estudiantes defender Juan Foyth, according to El Dia.
Tottenham were believed to be the front-runners to sign the Argentine youngster, with El Dia claiming that he was set to fly to London to complete formalities for his switch to Spurs.

Mauricio Pochettino is a huge fan of Foyth, and will be desperate to get a deal for the 19-year-old over the line, as he continues his mission to bolster and refreshen his defensive options.
El Dia now claim that PSG are set to intensify their interest in the Estudiantes ace, however, and have not yet given up hope of bringing the 6ft 3in centre-back to the Parc des Princes, despite the Lilywhites reportedly being so close to wrapping up a deal for him.

With just one week remaining until the transfer window slams shut, this will certainly be one to keep an eye on, and it will be interesting to see if Spurs’ recent capture of Davinson Sánchez has any bearing on their pursuit of the talented young Argentine.
