The Manchester City goalkeeper is a key target for West Ham United, but Watford have now joined the race to sign him, according to reports.
In what has been a summer transfer window that Hammers fans thought couldn’t get much worse, Slaven Bilic has reportedly been dealt another blow, with the Guardian reporting that Watford are muscling in on their interest in Manchester City stopper Joe Hart.
The Croatian must be at the end of his tether this summer, with one failed transfer swoop following another.
And with the Guardian reporting that the Hornets are keen on signing the 30-year-old England international, Bilic could be set to face further heartache.

West Ham finished in a disappointing 11th position in the Premier League table last term, after their disastrous player recruitment drive in the 2016 summer transfer window.
The Hammers manager and board have gone about being extremely active during this transfer window, however, in an attempt to make amends for last year’s efforts.
There is a genuine concern in east London, however, that all of these supposed targets and ensuing transfer bids are just a big smokescreen being used to trick the supporters into believing that the board are willing to spend heavily this summer.
And until new faces actually sign on the dotted line at the London Stadium, there will be plenty of West Ham fans who remain cynical as to the motives of the club’s owners.
