Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!
And Torreira could very well be the final piece of the jigsaw for Arsenal.
The 22-year-old is a tenacious, ball-winning central midfielder, and he possesses all of the attributes that the Gunners have so desperately lacked in the middle of the park in recent years.

The Metro claims that the Uruguay international is close to sealing a switch to the Emirates, and is set to undertake his medical in London today, ahead of his proposed move to Arsenal.
Torreira displayed his undeniable quality at the World Cup in Russia with the Uruguay national team this summer, and his arrival at Arsenal will surely help Emery’s side compete for the Champions League places this season.
