The Frenchman is currently in new contract talks at White Hart Lane.
A report in the Sunday Times this weekend revealed the interesting bonus clause in Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris’ contract at White Hart Lane.
The French international captain receives a £3,500 bonus every Spurs game he starts for the club, even if they lose or draw.

A Tottenham spokesman cleared up the issue, telling the Sunday Times it was simply an appearance fee and how it can be more in the event of a Spurs win:
“(It’s) an appearance fee which doubled if we won the game. He does . . . receive double the fee if he wins.”
Not many Spurs fans will have much of an issue with ensuring that Lloris is happy at the club. He is the captain of the first-team and therefore an integral cog at White Hart Lane. He is also one of the few players with a certain level of experience at a young Spurs team.

He is also one of the best goalkeepers in the world, so Tottenham are right to give him some perks in his deal.
This weekend it was however reported by The Sun that Spurs were struggling to agree a new contract with Lloris and that he was a transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Tottenham fans will be hoping the club can find a way to keep him happy.
Does Lloris deserve such a bonus?
