Arsenal’s hopes of signing the Borussia Dortmund ace could be affected by Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Lucas Moura.

The Gunners’ ongoing pursuit of Borussia Dortmund ace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang still remains up in the air, and coincidentally, it could very well be affected by their bitter rivals Spurs.
Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Lucas Moura from Paris Saint Germain, according to Sky Sports, and if they manage to wrap up a deal for the Brazilian ace, Arsenal could see their hopes of signing Aubameyang dashed, and here’s why…

According to Sky Sports, Dortmund have identified the PSG winger as the ideal replacement for the Gabon international, and if they lose out to Tottenham in the race for his signature, they might very well be less likely to sell their prized asset to the Gunners.
Arsenal fans will be desperate to see Aubameyang arrive at the Emirates, in a move that would soften the blow of Alexis Sanchez’s recent departure from the club.

If Dortmund fail to secure the signing of Lucas Moura, though, the Gunners’ path to obtaining Aubameyang’s signature might prove to be a little trickier than first expected.
