Brendan Galloway joined West Bromwich Albion from Everton on a season-long loan deal in the summer of 2016.
West Bromwich Albion would demand £1 million in order to send Brendan Galloway back to Everton in the January transfer window, according to The Liverpool Echo.
The Baggies signed Galloway on a season-long loan deal from Everton in the summer of 2016.
According to The Liverpool Echo, West Brom paid the Toffees a loan fee of £1m in order to secure the services of the 20-year-old defender.
Galloway, who can play as a left-back or as a centre-back, has featured in only three Premier League matches for Tony Pulis’s side so far this season.
“Galloway has made just five appearances this season and Derby, as well as others, want to sign him for the rest of the term,” states the report in The Liverpool Echo.
“But West Brom are refusing to budge and as well as Pulis keen to keep him as back-up, the Hawthorns club would want the £1m loan fee they gave to Everton repaid.”
Given that manager Pulis does not consider Galloway as an important part of his plans, it would make sense for West Brom to just let the defender go back to Everton.
With Derby County reportedly interested in the youngster, it would make sense for him to join the Championship club on loan until the end of the season if he gets more playing time than he is getting right now.
West Brom are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 32 points from 22 matches. Meanwhile, Everton currently find themselves seventh in the standings with 36 points from 22 games.
