The Foxes’ Steve Walsh is reportedly wanted as the Toffees’ director of football.

Leicester City’s reluctance to let Steve Walsh to hold talks over a move to Everton could force the Foxes head of recruitment to resign from his post, the Sun reports (Tuesday edition, page 49).
However, it is claimed that Everton will still be required to fork out for Walsh, who doubles up as the Premier League champions’ assistant coach.
New Everton investor Farhad Moshiri is said to have ambitious plans for the club
The 51-year-old is said to want the Toffees post, despite being torn about leaving the King Power Stadium, where he began his second spell in 2011.
Walsh, who cherry-picked last season’s stars Jamie Vardy, Ngolo Kante and Riyad Mahrez from Fleetwood, Caen and Le Havre respectively, signed a new two-year deal in May.

That means Everton face a £2 million bill if they are to lure the former Chelsea scout to Merseyside.
A former non-league player with Morecambe, Chorley and Leyland, Walsh is familiar with England’s north west, where he also worked as a PE teacher.
He began his scouting career with Bury and Chester, and later worked for Chelsea, Newcastle United and Hull City – beneath his former Leicester boss Nigel Pearson.
