The Frenchman did not have a great 2015-16 Premier League campaign for Newcastle, but Sissoko was brilliant at the 2016 European Championship in the summer.

In six appearances for France at the Euro 2016 finals, the midfielder created five chances, had a pass accuracy of 89% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and won two headers, 18 dribbles and eight tackles, according to Squawka.com.
