Arsenal will have to pay as much as £52 million as transfer fee in order to sign Julian Draxler from Wolfsburg in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
It has been reported by the British newspaper that Arsenal are interested in signing winger Draxler this summer.
The 22-year-old Germany international has reportedly expressed a desire to leave and Arsenal are keen on securing the youngster’s services. According to The Daily Mail, Draxler will be allowed to leave Wolfsburg for £52m.
Draxler is one of the best and most promising young players in Europe and has played over 130 league games in Germany.
The youngster joined Wolfsburg from Bundesliga rivals Schalke in the summer of 2015.
The 22-year-old scored five goals and created 36 chances in 21 Bundesliga appearances for Wolfsburg last season.
Draxler had a pass accuracy of 83% and a shot accuracy of 61%, and won 20 headers, 57 dribbles and 11 tackles.
In nine Champions League matches during the 2015-16 campaign, the winger scored three goals and created 13 chances.
In five matches for Germany at the 2016 European Championship in France this summer, Draxler scored one goal and created six chances.
