Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer.

According to a report from Football.London, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is more likely to sign a versatile winger who can also play through the middle, rather than and out-and-out striker this summer.
When fit, harry Kane will always be Spurs’ number one striker, so it will be hard to attract a truly elite forward to the club, considering the fact that they would mostly serve as the England international’s deputy.
Tottenham currently have Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura – both wingers who can also operate as auxiliary strikers, but it seems as though Pochettino wants to strengthen further in that department.
Football.London claims that the Argentine is reluctant to bring in another centre-forward, even if Vincent Janssen and Fernando Llorente both leave Spurs this summer.
They suggest that the Tottenham boss will instead be on the look-out for versatile wingers who are also comfortable being deployed through the middle.

With this in mind, the likes of Timo Werner and Kasper Dolberg seem to be ideal candidates for Spurs, but whether they feature on Pochettino’s radar is unclear.
One thing’s for sure, however, Tottenham must strengthen this summer in almost every department, if they are to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title next season.
