Manchester United are set for a busy summer in the transfer window as they look to build for a title challenge next season.

The Red Devils look set to finish outside the top four once again although could clinch a Champions League spot if they win the Europa League later this month.

The Mail report United are eyeing five summer signings, and names the key positions they want to strengthen.

United are claimed to want two strikers, one winger, one central midfielder, and a centre-back.

One of the strikers United want to occupy the number nine shirt worn by Zlatan Ibrahimovic this season, with the Swede set to become a free agent after his knee injury.

United are keen on Burnley defender Michael Keane, with the report suggesting his arrival could see Chris Smalling sold.

Keane is one of two players named in the report as potential targets, along with Porto winger Yacine Brahimi.

Brahimi has a release clause of £51 million, although has a modest return this season of five goals and three assists.

The Algerian is highly rated with The Mirror reporting Everton saw a £33.6 million bid knocked back last summer.
