Crystal Palace have been linked with Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho and Kevin Wimmer of Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Premier League club Palace are confident of re-signing Mamadou Sakho from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, and that Wimmer is seen as a back-up option if a deal to sign the France international collapses.

Stoke City are interested in the 24-year-old Tottenham centre-back, according to the report, which also claims that the Austria international has rejected a move to West Bromwich Albion in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool value Sakho at £30 million at the moment, but Palace expect the Reds to lower their asking price, according to The Times.

Good plan
Sakho played well for Palace during the second half of last season on loan from Liverpool.
The 27-year-old centre-back knows the Premier League well, and the former Paris Saint-Germain man would be a good signing for Palace.
Wimmer is a good defender as well and is three years younger, but the Austrian has less experience of English football than Sakho.
