According to the Daily Mail, Sam Allardyce has £70 million available with which to strengthen his squad at Goodison Park this month.

The 63-year-old has worked wonders since taking over as manager of Everton in November, but it is still evidently clear that he needs to bolster his ranks this month, if he is to guide his side to a top seven finish.

The Toffees currently sit in ninth position in the table, and their impotent play in the final third so far this term is something that Allardyce will surely be looking to address.

The addition of an established goal scorer will be of paramount importance this month, if the Blues are to mount a sustained push for the Europa League spots.

The Daily Mail claim that Allardyce will be backed to the hilt by the Everton board in January.

They suggest that he will be armed with a £70 million war-chest, and if that turns out to be the case, it would take a brave man to bet against the Toffees finishing inside the top seven this season.

The Mail list the likes of Cenk Tosun, Steven Nzonzi and Patrick van Aanholt as potential targets for the Merseyside outfit, and if they managed to bring those three names to Goodison Park, it could end up being a wonderful transfer window for Everton and their fans.
