According to Turkish Football, Everton have told Oumar Niasse that he can leave in January.

Niasse is currently said to be on Galatasaray’s shortlist, with the Turkish side looking for a striker.

Marco Silva has overlooked Niasse in Everton’s more recent matches, with the forward appearing to have very little future at Goodison Park.

Everton played Richarlison as a striker against Leicester, and they also have Cenk Tosun ahead of Niasse, who is on a £55,000-a-week contract (Daily Star), in the pecking order.

Everton are now seemingly making plans for Niasse’s departure in the near future, and have reportedly told him that he is welcome to join Gala.

Whether that opportunity will present itself remains to be seen though.

Galatasaray still need to agree a fee with Everton for the forward, and they are said to have other names on their wishlist, as they assess their striking options ahead of January.
