Leeds United duo Ouasim Bouy and Vurnon Anita are a long way away from Marcelo Bielsa’s side right now.

According to a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post, both Ouasim Bouy and Vurnon Anita could end up stuck at Leeds United.

Bouy and Anita were widely expected to leave Leeds this summer, as they do not appear to be part of Marcelo Bielsa’s plans.

However, there is reportedly a lack of interest in the Leeds pair.

With the transfer window due to close at the end of the month, it is said that no moves are imminent for either of the duo.

That is a blow to both Leeds and the two players, as the situation is hardly ideal for either.

Bouy and Anita look unlikely to even get regular game time with Leeds’ under-23 side, given how far down the pecking order they have fallen.

Bielsa also has no plans to use them in his first-team, which means that they could face the prospect of having to wait until January to play football again.

Leeds will surely want to get them out the door before the end of the month, to reduce their wage bill, but Victor Orta is now facing a real race against time to drum up some interest.
