Aston Villa goalkeepers Orjan Nyland and Lovre Kalinic have both struggled for game time since joining.

Villa currently have four goalkeepers on their books, with Tom Heaton number one and Jed Steer serving as back-up.
Dean Smith could now look to trim his squad at the next opportunity, with Kalinic and Nyland both at risk of leaving.
Kalinic is said to be actively looking for a move away from Villa, after being deemed surplus to requirements.
The Croatian was only brought to the claret and blues in January, but an injury early on in his time at Villa Park saw him lose his place and he never won it back.
Nyland seemingly has also dropped to third choice, after Steer’s heroics for Smith’s side as they earned promotion last season.

If Villa were to lose their two senior back-up choices it could be a risk, if they were to suffer an injury crisis.
However, the departures of both Kalinic and Nyland would save Villa a sizeable chunk on wages and get two players that Smith clearly has reservations about off their books.
